So for some reason I thought that it would be a clever idea last night to disregard sleep. I stayed up into 7:20am.
I laid in bed from 6:30am to 7:20am. I watched the dark sky turn into a navy blue with streaks of darkness. I watched the purples and pinks dance together across the canvas of the sky. I watched the pure white brightness at it's peak. And then I saw everything soften, smooth, and begin. It's funny what you can observe when you're not involved in everything and when you're awake. It's also amazing to wake up without being sick after being sick for so long.
What a perfect way to start the morning. Although a nice cuppa, no morning breath, and my wondrous boyfriend would have made it all the better.
Going to start my day with a run and some oatmeal and fruit. I am in quite the productive mood. Maybe I'll get something beneficial done today. My current mood is very tranquil. It probably won't last, but carpe diem. Take it while it lasts.
