Someone New
l heard that you've found someone else
and l've heard she's pretty too
but l haven't heard you speak of her
or what she means to you.
l thought perhaps you'd tell me why
l was the last to know?
we used to share our every dream
now l see it isn't so.
remember all the times we laughed
it was easy to be young
l thought that we were more than friends
it seems that l was wrong.
l guess l took too long to find
the words that l should say
you see, I've loved you all this time
and l realized far too late.
