I love books. I love bookstores. So what is the problem with working at Books.A.Million? My pesky co-workers and being forced to sell membership cards and magazines. It's a bookstore....we are suppose to sell BOOKS!!!
I like the calm atmosphere, the tasty things that come out of cafe' and most of the employees. I enjoy talking to people, feel great pleasure to find a book, and don't mind putting books away.
Julie this old lady gets on my last nerve and jumps on it like a trampoline.
She is so full of attitude and I feel I can't trust her. Everyone else I feel fine with but
not her. *ick* She is so nitpicky about stupid stuff. I call her Ma'am and she flips!!! "It's racist to say that." Have you been headbutting a brickwall?

Anyways we are getting a lot of new people and everyone else is telling me how to "better" my sales pitch. I am so tired of everyone nagging me about the same stuff.
I have my own way of selling and I do get the key points. Pardon me if I clean up the store, do customer service, AND the register. Sometimes I even have to do cafe' too!
That's all the rant I have in me for now. It's midnight so I better get to sleep.
