Magical Skills brainstorm:
Elements:
- Earth
- Wind
- Water
- Fire
- Spirit
- Void
These elements will encompass most of the themes present on Gaia. Angels go in Spirit, Demons into Void. Wind will take over for Sound/Music-type items, Earth will govern Nature-based effects. Anything Ice will fall under Water.
At the moment, I'm not sure if I want to take the methodical route for every element, but these are the different types of spells I'd like to utilize:
- Offensive
- Area of Effect
- Buff
- Debuff
Offensive spells are straightforward attacks of that element. Higher levels will add target count. AoE spells are more defensive and could provide buffs, debuffs, effect boosting, and anything else necessary. Buffs and Debuffs are, again, straight forward, granting stat uppers or downers to the target.
