Why do I remember this so well? Was it because of the significance of that day?

It began as a normal day, our school had a strange experimental way of determining if a student was guilty or not... Practice trials. They said it was a good experience for us to try. I was famous for being an undefeatable "prosecutor". My mere presence in our little imaginary court room made student tremble... Then this day it all went wrong...

As I ran out of the classroom ashamed that I could let something slip on such a simple case I began to wonder why I even cared. What if the students were all really innocent that I found "Guilty"?
As I sat in the corner, trying not to think about how I messed up, I decided I'd go to the one place I felt comfortable, the black market. Naturally, I'd buy magical objects.
The strangest thing happened that night, as I was heading back to my home at the time, I stopped by that odd warehouse I could have sworn was abandoned years ago, but I felt... drawn to it, so I entered... To my surprise, there was a frontier brain from Sinnoh, and some pokemon, and a young woman named Aoi.
Little was I aware they would become important in my life in the near future...
