I wanted to share another Poem with you.
Please let me know what you think?
I'll step aside
It's a little bit harder
than l thought it would be
to put into words
what's inside of me.
These feelings are crazy
and all too confused
but that's how it is
when my heart's been abused.
l find that each day
brings a new point of view
and l'm constantly changing
my image of you.
There are times when l feel
that l don't give a damn
for l'm better off being
alone as l am.
Then my attitude sways
as weeks go on by
and the thought of you leaving
compels me to cry.
and sometimes l seethe
with anger inside
wishing on you
all the tears that l cried.
lt leaves me bewildered
not knowing for sure
lf l have the heart
to love anymore.
For you left me a heart
that's a bottomless pit
and no longer holds love
inside of it.
So if that's the way
that you want it to be
then I'll step aside
and let you go free.
