Love is like a blazing flare,
forcing us to know it's there.
Holding us in its death grip,
lunging at our hearts to n**.
And when we try to force it down
we look a fool, just like a clown.
'Cause love is strong, and we are weak.
Compared to it, we all are meek.
But if you can control your mind,
and lose your love, you soon will find
that cold is what your life shall be;
for sanity, that is the fee.
So when you make the fatal choice
chaos or void will be your voice.
Control your heart, your soul, your mind,
one of the two, power will find.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Love is like a raging fire,
soothing like a sweet-toned lyre.
It piques our lively lust for life
so that we dance as to a fife.
You cannot try to force it down,
for if you do, you'll find a frown
will come to occupy your face
and make it an unpleasant place.
Embracing love most every day
is excellent advice, I say.
If you take it your life shall be
more precious than you'll ever see.
