Klio was born by parents who didn't care. He ran away when he was seven, into the mountains. He nearly died of starvation and dehydration when two men found him. One man was a martial arts master, the other a Russian spy. He was taught how to use an ancient martial arts that will be lost with him unless he passes it on by the martial arts master who was named Geong Wayne and how to talk, eat respectfully, and treat women right by the Russian spy named Sukar Hennarov. Then when he was twelve a bunch of men attacked where they were staying. Geong and Sukar were killed. Klio was shot twice and almost killed. He made it into the city when, remarkably, his uncle recognized him and took him to his parents house. Once he was better he set off to the mountains to find the men. He wandered into a cave and walked into Erebus, Greek hell. He was surrounded and a shade took his soul. they took him to Hades. Hades liked him so much that he adopted him, bringing him back to life. The general of the unddead army taught him how the phalanx worked and how to fight with greek arms. Then when Klio went back to the living he found out his real parents were dead, and he gained the powers a son of Hades would, along with his parents money. He moved to a new town and met a girl named Tifa Lockhart. The next day he met with her again, but she had her cousin, Yuffie Kisaragi, with her. He fell in love with her and a couple of weeks later began dating her. He made some wrong choices and had to beg her to stay with him. Then they did okay for a year, when they got married.
