I don't know why I bother.
Fanfic writing, I mean.
Most of the time, I write them in the earnest hopes that when they are presented to the one i've had in my mind while writing, they'll praise me and help me better my meager talent.
But they don't.
They read and make an offhand, generic sort-of comment, and then I feel really bad and really lame for writing fanfictions in the first place, and then I feel like my work's really bad (which it is) and that I shouldn't do it any more.
Maybe i'm being silly for wanting some praise and feedback when I write. I probably am.
But it'd be nice, you know, to hear that sort of thing.
I think i'll go work on fills at the hetalia kink meme livejournal thing. At least there you're really guaranteed a comment or two. Maybe.
