In the darkness there is my soul
In the darkness there is a hole
were my heart used to be
I was once care less
I was once free
I once believed in everything
but that was all striped from me
Now here lies the shell
Beckoning its dark soul to hell
Were its salvation dwells
This soul fell from the light
even though it put up a good fight
The right and wrong were turned to grey
The day the soul was burned away
Leaving just a shell
Now the soul resides living out a life fit for the light
But try all it might
it is still a shell
beckoned to hell
