this heart will remain with that same shred of hope
this body will become something beautiful

this mind will always be unsound
these thoughts won't ever stop racing
that sharp, metal object will remain my friend
for you.
this stomach complains in twists and flops
this heart screams in skipping beats and racing pace
this body is dieing in a slow heave
for you.
i feel my sanity telling me i'm going insane
i know but i continue to tell myself lies
i hope i might believe myself
