Life's Story
I'll be writing about things that have had some importance in my life.
So I had another near-death experience...
So I was waking up early this morning to a really bad stomach ache, right? It wasn't like I had to go to the bathroom either. I then noticed that my eyes were really itchy and watery. I go to check on this and had a really tough time breathing along the way to the bathroom, along with wheezing and a runny nose. It was then that I saw that my eyelids were severely swollen and my eyes were bloodshot. I called to my mother and she came over to "try" to help me with this problem. Each breath I took was noticeably shorter than normal before I'd start coughing and wheezing. It was scary, but I remained calm and tried to figure out the cause behind such an event. I couldn't resort to the emergency room, because I apparently could not see or breath well enough to drive myself all the way to the emergency room at 5am in the morning, not to mention that it was at least a half an hour drive away from Bonita. Plus, my mother was as big of an idiot as my dad. So naturally she was as useless and not helpful at all. She even tried to bring me a bag of ice for my eyes, which I was grateful for. Although I realized that the towel used for the ice was shedding on my face, because it was so old a towel. She cared as always, but was being a useless idiot as always. All she did was panic while I was trying to think of a way to cure myself. It was then that it dawned on me that these were the signs of a mildly severe allergy attack. What was the source of this allergy? I do not know. All I did know was that I had to get my hands on anti-histamines immediately. I tell my mom to go and get the Benadryl and some water for me. What does she do? I don't know which one it is. In a fit of rage I got up from where I layed and used all my willpower to find the medicine. Surely enough it was there. I immediately took 2 capsules with water. What happened after that? An hour later my breathing came back to normal slowly. My running nose stopped watering. My eyes were not as itchy. Although I can tell that my eyes were still swollen since I still had difficulty opening my eyes to see. Here I am right now. I'm almost all better. The only things I need to alleviate are my swollen eyes.
Where was my father in all this? Working at his McDonald's. He goes to work pretty early in the morning.
Funny that as soon as he got back, he refused to believe that I took care of my own illness and continues to scold me for not taking care of myself, blaming it on the lack of sleep I've been having.
There's a reason as to why I want to become a doctor. This is one of those reasons. I was always good at diagnosing sicknesses like this. Now if you'll excuse me people. I'll be going to bed right now, because this medicine is making me feel very drowsy...

Awww. Poor Tk. It sounds like an allergic reaction. Have you eaten any new foods lately? Or come in contact with animals or bug bites? It could be pollen in the air since your eyes swelled up. ._. I hope you feel better. Also, your parents are stupid.

lol! I just said that I knew it was an allergic reaction in my entry. I just don't know what the allergen is. What's strange is that I haven't had an allergy attack this severe since early in elementary school. Even then I don't remember all the details from then.

xD I was agreeing with you. It could be anything. I remember when my dad had a severe allergic reaction. His lips swelled up to 4 times their normal size. He looked like a monster. Anyway, the ER doctor said a good cure for allergies is to stop taking warm or hot showers and take cold showers.

I already know that. The cold temperatures from a cold bath help with lowering the swelling that results from allergens and stem the input of histamines. The only definite quick fix though in the case of an emergency, is a good dose of anti-histamines, despite how heavy it is on your liver. Better than dying on the spot in my opinion...
