~*One Word.
Tanner said his first sentence to me by accident yesterday. After that- he's been giving me one worded answers. If I were to talk to him, he'll smile and give me one word to my question.
He treats me normally, except for the one worded answers.
I wanted to get down to why he really didn't talk to Kenny. Others may be true- but is it?
I'll talk to-
'No, baby, no! I don't want to talk to him. Done.'
But I can-
'No. We have memories. It's done.'
Then Kenny seemed angry at Tanner. It was a side of Kenny that he tried to hide- trying to be mature. I could see it, he was trying to be mature around him. He'll usually slip by telling Tanner to sut up when he's being a d**k, or rude. Just, that. But he just didn't want any part with Tanner. The friendship was just done. Over. I couldn't push Kenny any further.
It was over.
I'm running ahead of Kenny, running with Devin most now. Kenny and I seem to get ourselves in trouble together, so we try to draw less attention from the teachers. It seems like a struggle.
Tanner texted me once i finished my Costa Rica essay [YES]. Hoping this wasn't a 'piss off, i don't want you to bother me,' text. It was one that i wanted to avoid.
'I was eating oreos. . . and then i thought of you.'
Being hesitant. I texted back.
Then there were questions.
Don't sweet talk me. Don't do it.
Curiousity ate me away.
