someone said they would never leave my side
that no matter what happened they would always love me
that even if i wasnt perfect, i would always be THEIR perfect
well, apparently there was something in that statement called a lie
they would say it was just a white lie
that no harm could be done and everything would work out.....
but they left me and i was alone

someone said that they would be my shoulder to cry on
that whenever i needed someone, they would be there
that when i was crying they would be my hope
well, apparently there was something about that, it was a lie
they said it was just a white lie
that it wouldnt hurt for just a stupid promise to be broken
but they were never there for me and i was depressed and alone

someone said that they would die for me
that no matter what it was i was dying of or for, they would die too
that even if i was dying because of homicide or murder they would die too
well what they said was a lie
they told me it was just a white lie
that its ok to lie sometimes, and that they would always be forgiven
but they let me go, and i started alone, became depressed and slowly i died
you see, even if it was just a white lie, it led up to me fading away
those three small white lies killed me

i hope you all now know what a white lie can do now
it can end a life
and start a new lie to live
just to happen again
