Broken Sidewalk Crumbling
Above my head
Floating there
A magic sidewalk that leads to Wonder
So high above the world
Untouched, unwalked upon
A special concrete that flies unmovingly
based upon imagination
if a soul ever was as lucky
to manage to walk on the ever high concrete path
it shall lead
into Beyond, oblivion combined with all the happiest dreams
i see it there, almost every day
the crumbling sidewalk that's withering away
I fear that i may never walk on it
but i'm even more terrified
it'll disappear
crumble to dust, collapse into nothing
many cracks, many crevices spread
all over its exsistance
there so high, way above
i look up into the sky
all the time
searching for its magical sight
like a taring gray rainbow
cracked and so very up ahead
its always a faint gray curve bound in the blue sky
balloons of every colour dance over its surface
make sure when u have a balloon tied
onto your arm, let it go
so it can float up atop
and join it's twirling dancing colorful buddies
A thing of pure belief.
a sidewalk that's so up high
no one knows where it ends
Nor where it may begin
its always there staying in wait
for the first single human to be brave
and decide their fate
and dance upon the skies
atop the Crumbling and cracked Floating Sidewalk
with all the balloons of every
Color and Shape
