Only one word he had uttered
Yet so many tears she shed
Goodbye was all he had said
Yet she had fallen to her knees crying
Begging him now to leave her
She thought back to the past
How many times they had fought
How many times they had said sorry
How many times they had hurt each other
She didn't care if he ever hurt her
She couldn't smile or live without him
He was her life
Her sunshine when she needed it
The person she could trust with anything
She loved him to death
He said fine he'd say
She smiled tears still falling hugged him
Yet again she uttered another sorry
He asked what for
She said for being selfish and making you stay
He was her light of hope and the end of the tunnel
The of few her gave her hope
Gave her a reason to live
To love again
He was everything to her
