"Eep!" The sleeping girl's eyes flashed open and she sat up quickly, looking around. "Sofia?" Sofia's teeth chattered in response. "Damn, it's cold!" She pulled her sheets up and over her shoulders and sat shivering for a moment before she remembered why she had woken up. "Are you okay?"
"I'm cold," Sofia said softly, her voice shaking as she shivered. Gabby settled back down onto her bed.
"Well, climb on in, silly," she grinned as she lifted the edge of her sheets with one arm. Sofia smiled back and quickly snuggled into the warm space.
"Thanks, Gabby." Gabby dropped the covers over Sofia and put her arm around Sofia's waist. Several moments passed before her shivering stopped and she drifted back to sleep in the warmth and comfort of Gabby's bed and embrace.
"Any time, Sofia," Gabby whispered, though she knew Sofia was asleep. "Happy Friday the thirteenth, love."

I feel like this was kinda half-assed. It wasn't, but it seems that way when I read it >.> It's a better visual with the description of the same room from the original story. I still haven't determined if the events in this story occur before or after the original. I'm thinking after, but I haven't determined how this is going to end.
Yay for Friday the Thirteenth =D
