She lives in a small run-down house when renovations are in working. It’s a small house, not too big, were you can’t clean every room, nor was it too small, were you couldn’t really move around the house. It was just the right size for her. She bought with her earnings about two years ago, and been remodeling it ever since. How is she able to do this?
By sometimes performing in the streets, and people would watch her. Most times she just did it for fun, and not realize till the end that there was a crowd. Sometimes she would pull people from the audience and perform with her. She had an energy that was just contagious. People enjoyed watching her perform.
One day she was dancing in the streets to a good dance song. She does the routine, and pulls a few kids from the watching audience to dance with her. They weren’t paying a whole lot of attention, when the owner of the company walks by, he decides to stop and watch. Her routine ends, and people where clapping and cheering, but the moment wouldn’t last long.
“How dare you!,†exclaimed the owner. It was perfectly clear he was furious.
“How dare I what?,†said Lex blankly.
“You know what you did, and I don’t want you to do it again.†said the owner, tensity building.
“What did I do? Just tell me.†said Lex starting to get frustrated.
“YOU DANCED WITH MY LITTLR BROTHER!,†yelled the owner, and the crowd was getting quieter and quieter, until when he was done shouting, you could have heard a pin drop.
“W-Well, excuse me Jake! I didn’t know. Besides your brother enjoyed it, and he has some dance talent. Anyway, you just can’t go assuming everyone knows who your brother is, and to steer clear of him,†said Lex taken aback at first, but came stronger each word.
“You’ll pay for this, because this is just getting started†said Jake, while Lex started to walk away. “Also, you have to stay here, because I say so,†continued Jake.
That made Lex stop, turn her head, raise her eyebrows, and say defiantly with a little touch of sarcasm, “I’m so scared.†Walking up real close to Jake she said even more defiantly, “Make me.†And she walked away without looking back, leaving Jake looking dumbfounded as if anyone could have said that to him.
“Come back,†yelled Jake, but it was no use. She didn’t listen, instead kept on walking without once looking back at him.
