Chapter 3
For the rest of the class we were suppose to write out all of the definitions from the back of the book, oddly enough we all stated working with out a work from anyone, well expect Yameru who seemed to be doing his work but really wasn’t. I looked at Evan, she was fuming and glaring at the teacher. Suddenly Crystal’s hand shot up, waving furiously. I glanced at her in disbelief.
The teacher looked up in utter frustration “Yes, Crystal?” how did she know Crystal’s name already?
“You…never told us your name!” stated Crystal blankly.
The teacher blinked and looked at the clock.” I feat there is not enough time to-” She was cute off as the bell rang and we fled from the classroom. I headed to the principals office, but I never made it to the end of the hall (( the hall with all the science classes, duh )) one of the class doors flung completely off it’s hinges and a brown wolf fled from the room. I blinked as the girls around me screamed. Gun shots were heard from the science room, and the wolf ran down the hall. I…I know this wolf! It was Tom! Tom was a wolf who was suppose to look after me, He had brown fur except for his chest and paws, they were white. He ran up behind me and a guy in a bright yellow suit looking outfit walked out of the Science room, and looked at me. He had long hair like the guy at the ramen shot, and he wore these ugly big black geek glasses, I mean taped in the middle and all! His hair was put up in a ponytail, tied in loops around the hair tie. Obviously to keep what ever he was working on in the room, from getting into his hair. He ran after Tom, and up to me.
“ That! That animal! It was running around the school! Is it yours? Is it? Is it!?” He was kinda hyper, for looking so mature and geeky, he also had that physique’s voice as if he wanted to kill my Tom.
“Yes he’s mine, Sorry for the trouble…er…sir” I glanced at him to make sure he was a man. He nodded “well wild animals are not to be pets, I’ll have to take him!” he piped as if he were on a caffeine sugar rush.
“He’s only half wild animal, he’s part dog, geeze! And he’s mine!” I headed to the outer doors of the school, he followed me. “I don not thing so!” He snapped at me. Suddenly Evan had her arm rested against my shoulder. Tom glanced at her, following me. He saw no threat in her and apparently he liked her, because he stopped following me, and walked RIGHT next to Evan. I was quite scared myself and looked at Evan while my ears flattened, what did I do to get her on my side? Evan glared at the teacher…guy and smiled. “You got a problem with this girl here? Eh!?” She asked him. He stopped walking and stepped back in mortal fear. He turned around and shrugged. “No, I do not.” his voice was shaky now and he flew back the was he went.
Evan glanced at me, it wasn’t a glare, but she looked like she was glaring at me. “ Hey you ever got a problem with him, ell me. I’ve been dying to kick a teachers a** all day, and if I don’t I’ll have to kick some puppy dog tail.” she smirked at me and yanked on my ears I yelped in surprise as she walked away laughing. Was she talking about me?…Hey! I was NO puppy. I sighed and went outside. Tome, who was staring off the way Evan had went reluctantly followed me out. “now Tom, I want you to go home and wait for me. You can’t stay here. It’s not like the Makia and people here will kill you.” He whimpered “now go on! Go!” He slowly turned his brush tail and ran off towards the place I was staying, when he was out of sight I went back in as the tardy bell rang.
“Damnit!” I napped and ran towards my class. The rest of the classes went by quickly, until Lunch. Naruto and Ryo were sitting where we usually sad, the table farthest from any other tables. Crystal sat with my brother Evan Derosha, the completely opposite of Evan Light. Evan Derosha was a guy, of course, my brother, he had black hair, that he wouldn’t let grow out to a certain point. He had this awesome green hat that covers his ears, he doesn’t like his ears. He has wonderful green eyes. Always wore his black long trench coat. He and Crystal got along pretty well, and I dunno, I think they looked cute together, but they were only friends, that’s it, they always sat together at lunch, and talked about WHO-KNOWS-WHAT!? I walked over to my table and looked at Naruto, he was eating ramen, I looked at Ryo, she wasn’t eating anything. I sighed. She looked at me. “What? I can’t eat, not with the new training I’m doing.”
“what new training!? Why CAN’T you eat!?” Naruto said with a mouth full of ramen.
“Its high ranking training, that I’m teaching myself.”
“Well I’m high rank tell me!” He slurped his ramen.
Ryo smiled “If only I could”
“You can! Who’s stopping you!?”
“hmm My hunger”
“then eat!”
“can’t I’m training.”
Naruto opened his mouth, and then ate some ramen, and that meant he was admitting defeat, with out actually admitting it. I sighed and started eating whatever I had gotten from the cafeteria. Evan sat down by me and yanked on my ear. “ow…” Naruto kinda laughed on the inside, but he was scared than I was of Evan, and Ryo just smiled. Next Evan punched Naruto, who practically flew from his seat. “So what brings you so far away from the crowds of punks?” smiled Ryo. Evan half glared at Ryo, and shrugged. Naruto ate quietly. I sat there, blankly.
“geeze! It’s so quiet when I walk up, go on, go back to what you were talkin bout” Evan got up and she ruffed up my hair, yanking my eat again, and this time knocking off Naruto from his chair. Why didn’t she ever bother Ryo!?
Naruto say up from being knocked over. “I swear one of these days I’m just gunna beat her up, anyways, what was that all about!/” he asked.
I rubbed both my ears and shrugged. I didn’t like Evan Light being so buddy buddy with me, she was trouble…I sighed. Why does trouble seem to follow me!? Ryo looked at me with sympathy, but her who was she to be giving sympathy? If you ask me she was in a worse state than all of us, with all her training and stuff, if you ask me she pushed herself too hard and was going to wind up hurting herself. Naruto and Ryo must have forgotten or maybe I just became lost in thought, but the next thing I knew the bell for class to begin rang. I stood up and headed off to my class, I looked behind me, I felt as if someone was watching me. Little Did I know that who was watchin me was gunna help me, little did I know that I knew this person and not only did this person but I wind up saving her? Who ever knew what was going to happen? I certainly didn’t. I had science for my last school hour, and that’s where I was heading, I have that class with Naruto, but that’s it, I mean he’s not the only one into the class but like the only one I talk too. I had to go to the same classroom that Tom was flung out of, does that mean I’ll have to deal with that whacked in the head teacher? I sure hope not, but still knowing my luck, it’s probably gunna happen.
I walked into class and up there was that bright, whacked teacher sitting at his desk drawing and humming. I sat down in my normal spot, and Naruto sat next to me.
The teacher jumped up “YOU can not sit there!” He snapped at me and walked over, he got up in my face “You must must move!”
I rolled my eyes, god what a crack job, and got up and moved over to the other side of Naruto. He smiled happily as the rest of the kids walking into the class, in huge, I mean huge letters on the board stating “My name is Taku, Mr. Taku.” I blinked. Well at least I knew one of their names.
Taku cleared his throat and pointed to the board, “as it says I wish for you to call me Taku” He smiled, he seemed to be searching the room, when he finished he seemed disappointed. “ I can’t wait to meet all of you!” He started to call the roll call and made everyone introduce themselves. He made us stand up and we had to talk for at least a minute about ourselves. When it came to my turn I stood up and looked around. “Uh…I’m Savvi Derosha-people seemed to glare at me in disgust, or snicker, at the very mention of the Derosha family name- “ I uh…” I blinked
“Savvi, what are your interests? What do you not like? Any hobbies, you must know something about yourself” Commented Taku.
I looked at him “well I usually…just hang out with Naruto….Cause he’s my best friend and I eat a lot of ramen” I glanced at the clock, oh man this is when I wished I knew the time, now was the short hand the second hand? No way! It hasn’t moved since I stood up. Taku snapped his fingers to catch my attention, I immediately looked at him and my eats flattened on my head. “You still have 10 seconds” I nodded.” I really like…hanging out with friends and going places” Oh god how I felt so embarrassed as I sat down. One by one they were called when Naruto was called he stated how he was the worlds greatest ninja and such on, now I knew people thought he was stupid, but actually he was quite serious. He smiled at me when he sat down and I waved at him. He waved back, god he was such a dork. Taku went over to his desk and got out some crayons he handed each one of us a color, oddly enough I got green, Naruto orange.
“Now class you see this color? It will be the color that resembles you in this class, it will also effect your grade on to which if you lose this crayon, and how well you color. I know this doesn’t make much sense right now, but soon it will” he pulled down a map of the periodic table of elements, it was just black and white. “Now blue please go up and color Neon.” A boy with blond hair and blue jeans on, his shirt said “I’m up and dressed, what more do you want? “ He went up and found Neon and scribble it in.
“My my! You as of now have an F in this class!” smiled Taku
“Dude your not serious! That’s so wrong!” He stomped off to his seat.
“Next I want green to color Gold.” I blinked. Oh that was me! I stood up and found Gold, I colored it in as well as I cold. He smiled “You now have a B in this class. Orange, you color silver.” I blinked and sat down, as Naruto got up, found it and colored it, He did a pretty good job, but mine still looked better. “Hmm that gets you and A” Taku said, I was completely shocked, Naruto smirked and say down. “Oh yeah! This class rocks!” people grumbled from the back of the class. After we had all colored our elements he made us pick out planets we are supposed to make stories up for. He gave me Venus, the goddess of love and Naruto Mars, the god of war. This shouldn’t be too hard, I mean I love writing stories! So I got straight to work. Taku walked around and read over peoples shoulders “good work” he replied “try harder” sometimes ever “tisk tisk stat over that paper will get you an F right off the bat.” He walked over to Naruto. “ I see that your quite the writer.” he smiled and came to me, he freaks me out so him reading over my shoulder wouldn’t help and at ALL. He patted my shoulder” You need to put more effort forth Savvi Dear.” and he walked off. I gritted my teeth. I wanted to punch him and trust me I was going to, if the bell hadn’t ran, I jumped out, not even waiting for Naruto and ran to my locker…which I waited at because I didn’t know how to open it, only Naruto knew the combination, So I was stuck waiting, some school gang walked up and shoved me into the lockers, when I swung myself and bared my fangs at them they backed off, called me freak and god girl and such, but left me alone.
FINALLY! Naruto showed up “what’s your problem? You ran outta class like there was a fire!” he opened the locker and threw his books in there, sad part was it was my locker. And most of the items in it where his. “Did you see how that teacher criticized me? I mean I got a B on coloring a freakin box!” I slammed my books into my locker and slammed it shut. “I’m going home, Are you coming?” I asked Naruto turning to leave the school. Naruto sighed “what about ramen!/ The shop is right there on the way home!” I sighed and nodded. “so are we going!?”
I nodded
“ and your paying?!”
I nodded
“Savvi…You’re my best friend”
“Naruto…..I know”
And we headed to the Ramen Shop. A car sped by real fast and I flicked it off cause it nearly hit us. Eventually the ramen shop was in sight. As we walked in I spotted Miko…Who was eating ramen, geeze does this girl eat anything else!? Naruto and I sat down and he ordered out ramen. “How was school Savvi-chan!?” Miko asked hugging me by the waist and snuggling my shoulder in a sisterly matter. I rolled my eyes. “You’d know if you went to school.” I replied.
“NEVER!” she held up her fist “ I have gotten this fat without school! I will prevail!” Naruto laughed. Miko walked over and hit him upside the head. “Don’t laugh at me! I’m serious”
“ I know that’s why your so stupid.”
“Am not!”
:ARE TOO”
“NOT!”
“too!”
“Hey Naruto….You love ramen right?”
“I guess you could say that, why?”
Miko picked up a bowl of ramen and dumped it right over Naruto’s head. “Eat that!” Naruto slurped a noodle that was dangling in front of his mouth. “mmm taste just as good” Miko pushed him and he laughed falling over and off the stool. Gosh how sometimes I felt so much more mature than the people around me.
The little bell hanging from the ramen shop door and and Taku and the history teacher waked in. They sat in the same spot as yesterday. Taku waved “Hello Naruto! Savvi…” His voice trailed off on my name. I gritted my teeth. Miko stopped hugging me and walked over to Taku, she blinked and got right up in his face. “ You know Savvi? Isn’t she great!?” she my sister ya know!/”
Taku frowned “Please get out of my face. “ Miko’s ears flattened and she came back over to me “ How do you know him? He’s mean!” She yapped.
“He’s my teacher” I said
: See that’s why I don’t go to school! I avoid the problems like that!” Miko looked up at the clock. “Oh no! Gotta go! I have to meet him!” Him as in her boyfriend Gojyo. And with that she ran out of the shop. I blinked and looked at the teachers. Naruto noticed me and tapped my shoulder. “Hey you gunna eat your ramen?” I shook my head.
The history teacher stood up and left and Taku stayed sitting, he sipped a coffee from Star Bucks. He waved her off and yawned. “My what a long day. I still have to go home and grade work, dear dear if people weren’t so horrid at coloring, I wouldn’t even have to grade anything.” He…was talking to himself….urgh stupid teacher! He was staring at his coffee, and Naruto was eating my ramen. Taku didn’t even look up and said “Savvi it’s very rude to stare.” and turned his head menacingly at me, it gave me shivers down my spine and I turned away. He smiled and stood up “ IT was very nice seeing the both of you, but now I really must be heading home, good day to you Naruto.” Naruto kinda just nodded him off and I snorted what a stuck up teacher! I was just glad I got to go home after we finished up here, and I cold sleep even if I wanted too. Naruto finished his ramen and mine and we stood up, heading out the door, and turning right onto dog street…which had no dogs….
