So, just to say what everyone else is probably saying at this moment in time and all day:
HAPPY NEW YEARS!
So, there. I said it. And yes, I did stay up to watch the ball drop last night, and I conked out soon afterwards. Continuing on with the 'New Years' theme...my resolutions:
1. Persistance- not let my confidence get the best of me. Like with BRP. Anyone who has known me for the past year and a half knows I have worked my @$$ off to get where I am with my book. (including loosing sleep) But now that I have the money to get it out there and seen by someone other than my friends, family, and a handful of teachers, I'm starting to have second thoughts.
2. Clothing- Learn to be a punk rocker while being a girl. I love my anime shirts, band shirts, and my Twi crap....but I have to start looking more like a girl. I mean hey, if it wasn't for my hourglass figure and my hair, you probably couldn't tell that well. Don't get me wrong, I'll still be happy wearing my XL Twilight tee, but I'm gonna to wear my kimono/slim cuts more often.
3. Money- I LOVE spending it. Books, plushies, a movie, a slush, etc, doesn't matter. I need to get better at holding onto money and knowing the difference between a NEED and a WANT. Like, as much as I'd love to back and buy the Cloud plushie I passed up for the my Vincent one, I don't need it. >.<'
4. Practice on Soul/Fang more often- I love my sax(es) and I'm a good player when I set my mind to it. But I need to practice more and be more confident in my playing. That's what kept me from getting districts this year. I freaked out and my tone went out the window. (Ps. Fang is my marching sax and Soul is concert. They were named according to where you would mostly likely find their namesakes)
