I recently drew a picture the made me think. The drawing was of my character, Dairgin, standing infront of grave with a rose in his hand. The rose had a lavender ribbon tied around it. The grave was his mother's. Dairgin, in almost all my writings of him, is hard anf nearly emotionless. Cold and distant, always putting on the tough guy act. He's the ex-gang member werewolf. But in some of my more recent pieces with him, I chose to write from his point of view, on the pain the transformations cause and the fear following the phases of the moon. But I never hit on the sadness he felt at the loss of his mother, Haruka Miamoto. This made me think: What else have I missed. Who's pain have I overlooked. It made me realized that I am generally a rather selfish person. But I do try to help others. Everyone cn and ahs cried at some point or another in their lives. So I'm going to start paying more attention to what's around me, who's hurting and who's happy and who just needs a good hug. To anyone reading this, remember, even the wolves can cry.
