Every single morning
I awake thinking of how you make me feel
Just like stitches
You pull me together and help me heal
Gazing into your eyes
I'm lost in their deep colorful perfection
Lost in this moment
My heart guides me in your direction
Sit here with me
As we watch the bright sun fade away
Although I may be silent
You fill me with things I long to say
Like a thief at night
You've stolen every bit of my heart
I won't ask for it back
Just promise never to tear it apart
