To every heart there is a beat,
And love to every person.

There is love to give, and love to receive,
Love to want, and love to need,
Love to break up, and love to make amends.

There is love to hurt, and love to heal,
Love to torture, and love to kill,
Love to care free, and then love to care less.

There is love to feed, and love to starve,
Love to step over, and love to carve,
Love to take control, and love to give up.

There is love to approve, but then to not approve,
Love to be able to stay, and love to go away,
Love to envy, and love to be proud.

There is love to be loud, and love to keep quiet,
Love for today, and then some love for tomorrow,
Love for happiness, but then love not for sorrow.
