had the nightmare come back
i can't stand anymore
i can't understand it

why does it come back?
it was years ago
almost 16
so long
but
so fresh
like a new wound
only this keeps opening and scaring me
i'm not one to cry.
i've learned to conceal my true feelings
to become numb.
