Thalia lived in a small village with a small population of 50 people. Thalia had the most beautiful hair in all of the village...but at what cost? People said that her hair just replicated angel wings and that the strands of Thalia's hair looked like they fell from the heavens...they were right. Every day, Thalia would pick the lock to the Marketplace door. Always sitting on the floor, a man handed her one angel wing to piece on to her head. This was the last angel wing needed, to cover up her only natural strand of hair left...Thalia didn't know why the man looked so happy to see her. Usually the man just gave her a blank stare, full of resent. Thalia took the angel wing, happy to know the man was glad to see her. But now, Thalia regrets using fallen angel wings for hair...she never knew the last angel wing would turn her to stone.
