My Trip =O
Wednesday August 3rd

We just started our trip yesterday. I really didn't want to go at all, but like I had choice. I guess I was kinda scared of what might happen when I came back. What I might have lost. I guess I felt powerless to do anything at that point. We started heading through South Dakota 4:30, and reached North Dakota around 11 I think. We only went through the lower corner of N. Dakota. The Dakota's are such a bore. Rolling hills everywhere and cows, but cows aren't bad, I love cows. Then there was Montana, where we stopped at a rest stop about 25 miles out of Miles (Nice name >.> wink . Paul snores very loudly o.o; so I couldn't sleep. Then my little brother kept hogging the seat stressed ! Anyway we got moving again around 4 am -yawn-. I'm tired and Paul is cranky. At the moment I'm looking at the mountains for the first time ^^;. We are going to a gaint glacier next -pokes giant ice cube- >.O;.

Thursday August 4th

Okay, we decided we didn't want to go to the glacier thank God. I didn't want to go two days out of our way -____-;. Took a 200 mile detour today to see a view o.o;. Well, we are in Washington right now and are heading into "The Twin Cities" (Pasco/Richland). We're getting a hotel soon. Yay. Ooo, I got Dan something today! It's a katana surprised ! Holy s**t, I spoil him. I get him a katana before I even get myself one 3nodding . Oh well, I'm planning on ordering one strait from Japan. I'm deciding on if I should get an antique or a brand spankin new one neutral . I want a whole set! Forgot the proper names for them all sadly sad . Excuse my rambling, where was I. Oh yes, the katana. I hope he likes it O.o;. Haven't gotten Sydney anything yet. I'm thinking about getting her something on the coast. Hope she will like anything I get her.

Sunday August 7th

On Friday we went to look at waterfalls. ********, I had to walk up hill all the way 6 miles to get to the top of a ******** waterfall.

Yesterday we went to the zoo! We seen all sorts of animals like monkeys, sea lions, wolves, and more. The monkeys were pretty neat. There were baboons, orangatangs, chimps, and a lot more. Heck there were lemurs too!! They were so cute x_x;. There were no foxes gonk ! What zoo is ever complete with out a fox? We took a train ride from the zoo to the Rose Garden where the Japanese Garden was. Of course I had to go to the Japanese Garden. Only me and mom went, because you had to pay to see it and the price was pretty spendy. Everything was beautiful. Something I would expect from Japan. I totally freaked when I saw the wall and the enterance. It was exactly like the old architecture. s**t s**t! I was jumping up and down by the time I passed through the gates. I was like a kid in front of the candy store -drools-! I love the Koi! They are so cute even though they are pretty much carp. I like the white ones with the orange, black and brown spots. There was a gift shop and everything was so awesome. The shop was quite small but I'm sure it took me 45 min just to look around. I got two pair of chopsticks, a book on Bushido (which is truely an indepth book on the code of the samurai), a charm bell that's in the shape of a turtle (which stands for good health since the Japanese folklore says the turtle and the crane live incrediblly long), and a journal type note book thinger. It is a dream of mine to build a house based on the old architecture of Japan. I will do it too.

Monday August 8th

It was my first time seeing the ocean yesterday. The water was so cold and so was the air coming off the ocean. We decided to camp out and after a while a hitch hiker came and set up camp next to us. I was really curious about him since I've never actually seen a hitch hiker up close before. The rest of the family went off to watch the sunset by the ocean and I decided to stay behind and tend to the fire. The hitch hiker guy came over and asked to borrow a roasting stick and introduced himself. His name was Kyle and he asked me to come over later on to have hot dogs or something. We talked about random stuff, like our homes and friends. He told me about where he went. He's from Canada. I suppose he's around 19 or 20. Funny thing is he thought I was out of school, ******** I get that a lot. I don't know what it is.. considering that I'm short. Yes make short jokes about me now stare . Anyway he never asked for my age so I didn't ask for his. Then in the morning they were making fun of me and saying I liked him. What the ********? Are you on ******** crack? He's like how old and I have a boyfriend thank you very much, which I would hardly give up for someone else.

Tuesday August 9th

We went to the Redwood Forest today. The trees are tall. It was somewhat interesting. After that we drove to Redding and Paul didn't want to stop so we went to a town called Red Buff. The hotel was crappy. There were bugs everywhere. We started moving again and ended up in Sacramento and headed to Reno. We at a truck stop in Reno, personally I thought the food was nasty. Now we are heading through the Nevada desserts. It's pretty boring...

Wednesday August 10th

We finally got to a hotel last night around 7 and I went to sleep around 10. We left the hotel and continued to travel through the desert. We got into Utah soon enough, but passed into Idaho with out me even knowing. We are heading to Idaho Falls. I wonder what Dan is doing right now... he went to his brothers house for a week and haven't been able to get a hold of him for awhile now. I don't know if he has his cell phone with him, but I have called it and he doesn't pick up. Well, I'm heading to Yellowstone tomorrow. I seriously don't know if it will be interesting.

Thursday August 11th

We got up at 4 this morning to go to Yellowstone. Of course they don't allow people in after 11am? That kinda pissed me off. The hot springs smell like a**. Okay, it's because of the sulfer in the water. So it kinda sucked. So many times I wanted to push my brother over the edge of the walk way into the springs. The water is close to 150-200 degrees. He would have totally melted lol. Anyway, we pretty much were wondering around and happened to come apon a bunch of gift stores and such. We seen Old Fateful, but it wasn't all that great. It really wasn't fateful... it was 30 mins off. Oh well, I got a book on deaths in Yellowstone. Heh.. stupid people. Ooo, I wonder if this hot spring is all that hot? What a bunch of idiots. Finally we got out of there and now we are somewhere in Wyoming. I'm bored...

Friday August 12th

Went to a cave today. Kinda weird, but fun. So then we rode to Custer Park. We drove around there pretty much all day. Seen mountain goats, dear, antelope, jack asses lol (donkeys), buffalo and few other things. We were planning on camping out and went to Evan's Plunge. Evan's Plunge is a giant hot spring. It felt like a normal pool -sigh-. It started raining really hard and we drove back to camp. We were expecting that our tent blew away but someone was nice enough to put a log on it. I was on edge from reading about lightning strikes in Yellowstone. The lightning was striking right next to us on the hills and stuff. Kinda creepy. We had to go through Custer Park again and pulled over to look at the map. As we were pulling up there was a big ******** buffalo that scared the s**t out of me. I wasn't expecting that. Then Paul being stupid turned on the brights. Nice, piss it off and let it charge at the car. Well, it could care less and walked off back into the woods. We couldn't find a hotel in Rapid City because of Sturgis's, the Bikers Rally. Well, we could, but we weren't going to pay 100-250 dollars to stay at a hotel. The rest of the weekend is supposed to be rainy so we decided to go home. Well, it was an 8 hour drive home and it was already 11 pm. Got home and went to sleep which I'm going to do right now. Peace.

If you read all of that you're ******** crazy. eek

I'd get sick of it too, plus the stench is pretty horrid -dies-. You get altitude sickness? That must suck -snuggles you-. Yeah, I was pretty close to 9,000 ft too.
