At the vampire kingdom....
Grace: But daddy I don't want to go to the ball with Ren!
James *Grace's father*: Your going! This is important to the Kingdoms!
Grace's father:
Grace was around 15 in vampire years at the time. This was before she first met Ren. Ren was prince of the Twilight Demons. It was King James hope that Grace and Ren would marry and align the kingdoms. The ball was arranged in these hopes.

Muri *Grace's mother*: Listen to your father. Ren is a nice boy you will like him a lot. Besides if your scared of getting hurt Shadow will be around to guard you.
Grace: Shadow is going to be there to watch me dance around like an idiot!? Now I'm really not going!
Rose: You won't be saying that when you see your date little sissy! wink
Grace: Stupid big sister.... Fine I'll go!
Muri: James dear and Rose to leave so I can get Grace ready.
Grace's father and sister left leaving Grace and her mother alone. Grace Was figeting in her newly bought dress while her mother fixed her hair.
Muri: Your all done Grace and my you look beautiful...
Grace: *mumble* I don't want a new boyfriend I liked Dusk...
Muri: Ren won't leave you. I promise.
