I was able to talk to an old friend of mine from waaaay back. Like, three years ago. Okay, so it's not that way back, but for me, three years away from a friend is a really, REALLY long time. Name: Michael Corral. Yes, he was the idiot of all idiots, but that was before I've met other idiots along the way. He was a gentleman in 6th grade, then a confused guy in 7th, and in 8th, I'm pretty sure he ended up like crap. But that's only my opinion. I remember seeing him in my piano lessons one Saturday morning. ((I know, weiiiird.)) He was playing basketball though, not playing piano. He always asks for hugs. I almost forgot how much he liked stealing hugs from other people. Until he asked me for one during that day. At first I was a little conscious about giving him a hug, especially since my mom was right behind him, giving him the Devil's glare. ((Ooooh, scaaary.)) But then I felt kinda care-free since he was holding his arms out for about a minute or so, waiting for me to hug him. Nice guy. A retard, but still, nice guy. And when I heard his name called out by the announcer who announced names for people who got accepted in High tech High, I froze. "Congrats, Michael Corral of North Hollywood, California." His name was loud and clear, and it was displayed on the big screen board in the middle of the room. It was obviously the same guy I knew three years ago. I tried looking for him all over the room, but he wasn't there. He probably forgot there would be a meting that night. It seemed probable. And then on Myspace, I sent him a message saying that he got accepted. He was beyond surprised. Of course, at first, I thought he wasn't going to answer me, and ask me who I was, or if he knew me or not. But instead, he said, "omg, seriously? i did? no way!!!" It was as if we had talked forever, and as if we had seen each other only yesterday. Of course, I had to reply to him, and I said, "yes way!!! i don't know any other michael corral from north hollywood, ca!" And his reply was, "lol."
