Well, as the days pass by after the fabled Mexico trip, I cannot help but feel a little depressed again. I feel much happier and lighter than before, but a large burden still weighs heavily on my chest. I do not like to think, because my thought process turns to things that I should not think about and that will only bring me pain. So I try desperately to keep myself occupied with books, video games, and drawing.
My dad is leaving in a little over a week to Alameda for active duty, and I will most likely not get to see him at all during the three and a half months that he is there. But there is also his unit's commisioning(opening up of a unit), and I must attend the ceremony for that.
Oh! And our governor, Arnold (yes, the famous actor), might be attending it.
And then, before that, I will hopefully be up in Sacramento visiting my cousins and my aunts, and uncle. My cousing Kimmy, who I have not seen in over 4 years, is coming down, and so is my Aunt Chris. They are staying with my Aunt Laurie, so my little sister and I are going to go up and stay with them all for about a week. I am really looking forward to that because Kimmy is my favourite cousin.
Besides that, I am currently working on a song that popped into my head a couple of days ago and I am trying to write down lyrics for it and get the tune down. I was thinking that I could be triple-major: artist, song-writer, and author. mrgreen
