time and time again
i've found my self lost
in this dream

running away from
every problem
that came my way

what is this allure
that brings me to you
i always thought happiness
brought despair

but thats only if
u don't know how
to stay there

u make things
complicated enough
on their own

i didn't know how to walk
always thought myself
as alone
as the birds sing
my soul is lifted
through the sunlight
bouncing off the
sheild of my heart

and i can soar
high enough so
i can't hear your words
and i won't have to
sit alone
by the window
crying
for u to hear my pain

and i will one
day feel this
fluential happiness
