it came for me again, this time its colder,
this feeling of despair,
i see its hand reach over my shoulder,
its arms wrap around me without a care,
its claws dig into my skin,
and steals my breath,
it takes away my kin,
as it goes inside my chest,
and into my heart,
it rips and shreads,
dragging me into the dark,
leaving only fragments of my dreads,
as i am going to hell,
i cry crimson tears,
they leave behind a mark of what hope couldnt tell,
and...as i enter the gate i hear,
a song, a song being played,
to welcome me here but i knew,
that i didnt belong there so i stayed,
between the gate of hell, with not one clue,
on how to leave,
and never return,
i wake up to find myself realived that i am alive,
but my stomach churned,
as i realize it is still here,
clinging onto me for life,
and now i hold it dear,
because its all i have, like a knife,
it will engrave my troubles,
into my soul, my skin,
hoping it will be traped from within,
so no longer must i have to bear it.
