"Don't close your eyes, just don't."
The alarm clock went off at 5:00 am and I was awake. (I'd been awake since 2:30 am.) I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew my mom was calling me on the monitor at 5:46 saying, "Bethany, are you up?"
Speech contest today and the buses left at 6:30.
I got ready in ten minutes, scarfed a measly breakfast and was out the door. I don't even remember how I did it, I just flew on autopilot. Adrenaline.
So speech team went great!
Even 'The Boy Friend' got a one, even after last night's post.
I don't think we'll get anywhere at state with the energy level that one person has.
Anyway, so all of our performances got ones and that's pretty amazing.
I'm tired.
