Dancing raes across my skin
Changing tones from light to dark
Avoiding Shadows
Making birds sing
Sunshine, it seems
Causes everything
To live
And yet,
I can't help but feel
That there is something
Almost magical
About these raes.
It could be the faces
I see sometimes in their places
Or the voices they speak in.
Their echoes off the moon
Sing a lulliby each night
While laughter and story-telling
Runs with the day
And the feeling of being
Kissed
Comes with every sparkle across
My eyes
Blinded for moments
I see the face of
Him
Then, I go about my buisness
As the raes dance about
Where I left them behind
They know I'll be back
Seashore
The sun dancing on my face
The sand skittering with the wind
The water gently lapping
At my feet
The roar of the surf
Echoing in my ears
On the horizon
Dolphins splash playfully
This unknown beach
Is marred by two thing
The trash littering the
Sand
And the body of a girl
Who shall never live to see
A day over fifteen
One is left to wonder
At these
And only one thought crosses
This one's mind
Why?
A Forest's Shade
Shadows move in time with the wind
Playing across my skin and clothes
I wait for him there
Cars drive past me
Birds fly away
Distirbed by the sudden noises
I wait, and smile
He has come here before
With others
I don't care
He may not love you
THen he doesn't love me
I've lived without him
I can live on without him
What if you love him?
The little voice keeps at it
But I keep waiting
Did I love him?
The shadows grow longer
And the cars fewer
The forest is quiet now
I wait
as the sun slips down
I stand, and turn
He is there
Smiling at me, he holds out his hand
I take it
Returning his smile
I go with him
Into the night
