Rui Kiyohiko and Shizuki had a wonderful relationship. Rui loved Shizuki and Shizuki loved Rui. All they needed was each other and all was right in the world. They came from rival families, which made it hard for them to see each other at first.
Rui was a slender male with sliver hair just below his shoulders, porcelain skin and bright emerald eyes. Shizuki was also thin but had muscle with charcoal hair and eyes. He was a little more tan than Rui.
They had met on a sunny Saturday morning at a local convience store. After that they continued to see each other, falling even more in love. Of course when their families found out they tried to stop them. So Rui and Shizuki packed up their things, ran away and got married. It seemed like the perfect happily ever after.
Rui got a job at a restraunt, and Shizuki worked part time at a gas station. They lived happily together in a small apartment.
But their happily ever after wasn't going to last forever., Their third Christmas together ended it all.
A couple of weeks before, Rui had come down with pnemonia. And it was getting worse.
They had their christmas all planned out. The miniature tree all decorated, tinsel hung on the doorways, neatly wrapped presents sat under the tree and the smell of the pies Rui had made lingered sweetly in the air.
When Shizuki woke on Christmas morning, he found his love dead. Rui had died in the night; pnemonia had gotten the best of him.
Shizuki felt as if a part of his heart had been torn off. The presents lay unwrapped, all joy in Shizuki's heart had died. He ate the pies that Rui had made just for him and cried as he could feel the love Rui had put in them.
The funeral took place and Rui's family blamed Shizuki for it all. Shizuki, despite his parents, continued to live in that small apartment.
He couldn't bring himself to leave it. Eventually one of his friends, Moku, moved in with Shizuki.
And that is where our story begins....
