"Put on layers, it might just help."
I sat on the ground, looking out at the field. Icy rain falls around me, hitting my red columbia coat. I watched as the water turned to icy. Gently poking my sleeve with my glove, I marveled how fast things froze.
Jeez. It was freaking cold! Who cares about story style anyway?
I went deer hunting this morning.
AKA: I hauled my butt out of bed before sunrise to go tromping around in the wilderness looking like a red and neon orange sun spot.
Delightful.
My cheeks are still cold.
I came back inside because I had a 4-H meeting.
After I got all undressed and put all of my deer hunting outfit away and up to dry, guess what? I find out the meeting is canceled.
Something about icy roads and bad weather conditions.
