Wheeeeeee!!!! I'm getting a puppy this Saturday! Actually, I've known about this for about four weeks now...Yeah, I need to write in this journal more. sweatdrop Anyway! The puppy is a boy and he's a miniature poodle like our other dog, Jessie, and his coat was a reddish colour the last time I saw him. The breeder-lady says that he'll probably be lighter when he's older. We're going to name him Cody. He'll be seven weeks old this Sunday. I have a picture of him, but it's not very recent, so I shall post a picture of him as soon as we bring him home!
I'm really excited about getting Cody, but I'm not looking forward to a couple things:
1. He'll be sleeping in my room so guess who gets to wake up in the morning to take him outside? And guess who also isn't a morning person?
2. House-training him. The reason is, my brother is going to be no help (He's the only person Jessie will never listen to. Albeit, that dog's stubborn, but at least he vaguely listens to most of us.) and my dad is almost always at work so it's pretty much going to be just me and my mom. Lovely.
3. He barks at the vaccum even when it's turned off. I've already had to deal with Jessie and his vaccum issues. I swear he thinks it's going to eat him. stare So much for an attack dog. (Family joke)
4. The invetitable power struggle between him and Jessie. I personally don't care who wins; I just want them to resolve the matter quickly.
5. Jessie is going to be so pissed off when we bring him home. He'll probably be fine for the first day or so then he'll be like, "Okay, when is this thing going home?"
