Gale's eyes shot open. "Where.... am I..." He slowly tried to get up but quickly fell back. "Pain...." He looked around the cave he had fallen into. "Koujin? Zane?" He looked to the cloud of dark smoke that remained of the giant Deddo. "Looks like the fall killed it..." He heard something move. "Zane? Koujin?" "No kid... its me..." Gale smiled. "Well atleast someone answered." Cid sighed. "Haven't found the other two yet..." Cid kneeled next to Gale. "We fell pretty far... I dunno how we lived...." Gale slowly began to get up again. "Well I can barely move.... How long you been able to walk?" "Not long..." Gale laughed. "I see you two really wanted to find us...." Zane kneeled next to Gale. "Koujin is scouting ahead and I've been searching for a while now.... And I find you here just waking up." "Not my fault....." Cid stood up. "Come on kid. Lets get you standing." Zane and Cid helped Gale to his feet and they began to walk off to a tunnel near the west end of the cave. "Koujin should be waiting at the end of this tunnel...." They continued to walk until they heard a load roar ahead of them. "Whoa whoa whoa!" "Koujin?!" They stopped as Koujin charged past them. "Run!!" They looked to the end of the tunnel to see three mid-sized dragons coming towards them. "Thats.... not good...." They turned and began to run down the tunnel. "Those things aren't suppose to exsist anymore!" Gale sighed. "What do we do? The scythe technique only works on Deddo and all we have is the Scythes..." "Well I don't plan on harming them anyway." Cid stopped at the end of the tunnel. "You two keep moving. I'll take care of them."
