Naxyllas suffered from a broken heart. Unable to live with the pain, she gave up her heart and became a Nobody. She was then recruited by Organization XIII as number XVII. When she gave up her heart, she became incapable of wielding her Keyblade, Fake Star. Thus, she gained completely new powers--telekinesis, telepathy, and the ability to enter the minds/dreams/memories of others and manipulate them.
