First I'll tell you about last night and Dani's bloody nose all over the sidewalk.

Hows that for a killer first sentence?

Anyway. Dani was laying on the ground and she said, "I taste blood."

We were at band practice and it had just ended.

So she jumped up and in the light of someone's car I saw blood suddenly come down in this huge stream from her nose.

Dani started freaking out.

I was like, "Omigawsh..." Then I paused and said, "Drip it all over the sidewalk!"

So guess what she did?

She dripped it all over the sidewalk.

This morning Olivia wrote on the sidewalk with an arrow at Dani's blood reading: Freshman blood.

OK. So now, to the political phone call.

Politicians call my house and try to get us to vote for them by feeding us a load of bullcrap with lots of 'he's positively the greatest human being, a model for all people, full of integrity and pride' etc. You get my point?

So then they have a phone conference.

Does McKain like to take long walks on the beach?

What is his favorite color?

Does McKain know what the wingspan of an African sparrow is?

Yeah.
