So cold
I can feel my body tremble under my large hoodie.
Standing out in the rain felt so good
I just couldn't resist it
It fell so gently so soothingly
At the time nothing else mattered, nothing was in my thoughts
just the gentle constant pattern of the cool rain
I felt it slip over my skin cleansing my soul
Right there in that moment
All that was there was me and the storm
The lightning sparked and the thunder growled
they didn't scare me I enjoyed it
Standing there in the rain, hood down, no umbrella, no voices, just me
I suppose that it wasn't such a good idea, but it made me happy
I won't say that it wasn' t worth it, because it was, believe me it was.
If given the chance I would do it again and again
I want to do it right now too
I'd be warmer
but here I sit, the ac blowing on me as if to aggrivate me
it's not working
simply making me colder
