HERE IS MY STORY / DESCRIPTION:
It was dark!
What happened?
I fumbled for an emergency torch.
My daughter began to fuss beside me. I cuddled her.
I flicked the torch on, its meek glow illuminating only a mess of smoking cables and wires. At the front of our craft lay the hunched figure of our captor -- his pink skin scorched and smoldering. I needn't get near him to know he was no longer in this world.
As I scrambled from the wreckage of the fallen ship I realized we were alone on an uncharted world! Large drops of wetness pelted my face. I prayed they were not poisonous. Tentatively, I held out my hand. The liquid was sweet and clear! The air, bless us, was oxygenated and breathable. I let out a sigh of relief.
Leading my daughter with one hand we slowly picked our way from our former prison. Already she seemed to forget our past horrors, her curiosity of our new home glistening like the morning sunrise in the rain.
