I started a fanfiction thread for a Kingdom Hearts story I did and now I'm leaving it because people are being rude. I'm reposting the song/poem I came up with as written by the main character, Kaze.
The Island Home I Once Had
Surf, sand and fun
Life in the sun
On an island with my friends
I lost it all to the darkness
One night with him
I fell to the sand
And we both tried to laugh it off
Then darkness pulled me down
And I landed on this world
Cold and alone I grew up
So many years
I’ve been stuck here
I want to go home
But I notice things other don’t
Stars are fading
Hold on to the light
I’ll come home one day
Because promises are forever
Our memories will always exist
And I’ll never forget you.
