It was raining like cats and dogs, and mostly everyone was at home. But that didn't stop Liru and Badger from going out to buy food and water. DiTan had went to the weapons shop to buy new bullets for he's gun. Liru walked behind Badger under an umbralle whlie the happy shapeshifter skipped down the road, getting soak to the bone.

"Rain rain go away! Come agani another day!" He sung over and over again laughing to himself.

Liru chouldn't help but smile at he's childish behaver. He reminded her of a kitten or puppy. Just inncoecnt to the fullest. She stopped by a vendor who had set up despite the rain. He was selling fresh water and herbs.

Thankfully from liveing so long on the road, Liru learned how to bargain and huggle with vendors. After about 5 mintues she was able to get 3 pounds of fresh herbs and 2 contariers of water for about 5 gold pices and a small dagger she didn't want anymore.

The two went on walking and stopped by a barkery. The baker was a tall thin man who didn't say anything. Just point at signs. Liru knew better then to huggle with the unspoken. So they brought two lofts of bread and a slice of cake for Badger. The baker's wife was nice enough to give them also so cheap candy she made herself for free.

Liru sighed as they walked back to the Inn they where staying at. It was nothing fancy, just a tall building with dirty walls and dirty floors. The frount was a pub and the back was for robbers to sneak in and out when the guards and police came in. Upstairs where seven rooms with a sink and toliet. Each room had two beds, a desk with a broken chair and a dirty carpet. Badger wanted to share a room with Liru and had kept whineing about it. In the end, DiTan dragged him to their room and teid him up before LIru chould harm the child any futher.

"Hey Liru! Can I stay in your room tonight? I promise I'll be good!" pled the young boy as they walked up the stairs to the Seven Door Floor as Liru called it.

"No and again No cause you're going to ask again." said Liru. She seemed broed and just wanted to lay down for awhile with thinking.

"Aw, but why? It's not like I'm flirting with you like DiTan is! Besides, he snores at night!" he gave her puppy dog eyes which made him look like a cross breed of a cat and a dog at the same time.

Liru rolled her eyes, "You can sit in here until it's time for bed. But thats it." she open the door to her room and set the bags on the spare bed.

Badger jumped up and down happy and ran into her room after her. He jumped on the other bed and began to talk really fast. Liru chouldn't even understand what he was saying.

DiTan came in suddnely and smiled, "I thought that was you guys. Her Badger, got you something." he was holding 3 borwn bags in he's arms.

Badger jumped from the bed with a thump and ran up to DiTan, "What is it?" he asked, taking the bag from him.

"It's that toy panda you kept whineing about. That clark lady felt so bad that she gave it to me for free." He smiled saftifed with the look on Badger's face as her open the bag and yelled for joy.

"YAY! THANKS DITAN!" Badger hugged DiTan tight, laughing.

DiTan nearly fell over and laughed as well, "Yeah whatever. You're welcome. Now then, I better go set up my things. Whose careing what?"

Liru looked at him and shurrged, "Badger is careing for some of the food. And I say that with regrat. I'll take the other some and so will you DiTan. Whatever else is what you want to carry from here. I personally don't care."

The teen boy shurgged and smiled at her, "Okay then. Just give Badger my share so I can pack it later. I have to take care of my other things frist."

SHe nodded and went back to packing, "Badger take this with you. You two should pack now so we can leave time early."

Badger grabbed he's and DiTan's potion of the food and ran out the door, "Okay then Liru!"

DiTan smiled to her then waved bye as he turned around, closeing the door after him. Liru allowed a small smile to form on her lips then. She went back to packing thinking, They're so stupid...

It kept raining threw the day. Everyone was in Liru's room because they got bored. Badger was on the floor palying with he's new toy queitly. DiTan sat on the spare bed cleaning he's gun and particeing with it. And Liru was sitting at the desk, readin g threw her song book.

A surpised knocked came to the door and the three looked up. They didn't move for a moment and the knock came again, this time a little louder.

Liru stood up and wacthed DiTan tense up a bit, ready to fight if need be. She walked up to the door and open it queitly, "Yes?"

"Hello Liru Hinku." said the old man. Lighting struck from the empty window and all was still.

The old man sat in the chair which moments ago Liru was sitting in and looked at the eyes following him. He gave them a toothless grin, "Well now, you kids act as if you've never seen an old man before."

Badger sat up stight, "Not as old as you no. You must be over 1 billion! OW!" DiTan hit him in the head with the back of he's gun.

The old man just laughed, "No not that old. Not yet anyway. Oh but heavens me, how rude. I haven't introduce myself. My name is Onkin Jinlu. Or JiOnkin. Either way works for me."

DiTan nodded, "I'm Tan Diku. But I'd rather be called DiTan."

Badger bounced on the ground, "I'm Badger! Please to meet ya Grandpa! OW!" DiTan had hit him again.

JiOnkin smiple laughed, "Oh yes yes. I know who you all are. I've known since before you where born."

Liru had sat next to DiTan and looked at the old man, "How so?"

"Because, "He's eyes twinkled, "It was written in the songs in that book I had given you." He smiled brightly, "I have a tale to tell you three. You began to travel because you had nothing to lose and nothing to gain. All three of you have a dark past and a blank furture. IF you heed the next words I saw to you now, you will recive more then anything you chould've dream of."

He paused and looked at them. No one said anything so he countaied, "First Badger my boy. The song that will be sung to you one day is called 'Ton Foy Seepa.' 'The Toy Shifter'. You will shift many lives with your powers, even though you may only be seem as a toy at frist."

He moved he's gaze to DiTan next, "DiTan. You owe nothing to the people you will save. BUt all in all, you will still do it. The song that shall be sung to you one day is called 'Simpa Koy'. 'Simple Boy.' the song will explain itself in due time."

Lastly he's gaze locked on to Liru's. He didn't speak for a while and no smile was on he's face, "Liru...you have no song. Because you are the songs. Do not ask me what this mean. You will find out in time."

Liru kept looking at him and spoke slowly, "What is the meaning of all this old man?"

JiOnkin spoke softly, "You have already heard the story of Liru. Of GoPi. You have already meet Donta. Your purpose, my dear childern, is to find GoPi before he dose, and awake her beofre it's to late. Without her powers, the world shall fall to demons forever."

There was an uneasy silcene in the room. DiTan thought for that moment then spoke, "If thats so..then how are we suppose to find her?"

"You're a smart lad. Go the old village itshelf. From there find the signs. Donta knows nothing of the signs that is meant to find her. The rest is up to you though, I can only give you as much as I am given. Oh and here DiTan. This is for you." JiOnkin pulled out a small object from he's pocket. It was a silver dagger with blue stones and engraved dragons.

He handed it to DiTan, "You'll need this to protect her soon." He smiled softly to them, "Well my dear childern, this is all the time I have. It has been a plesure meeting you." With that, the room went dark and he was gone.

DiTan looked at the dagger that night before he went to bed. He studied how it felt so real in he's hand. So cold. He listened to the soft breathing of Liru threw the dark. Badger didn't want to leave her alone, and she wasn't up to argure with him anymore. Truth was, DiTan didn't want to leave her either. Worry was all over he's face, and he was glad it was dark.

Slowly pulling it from it's seath, he could see how shrap it was. How it gleamed in the low low light of lighting when it flahsed by. DiTan kept looking at it, lost in thought.

Liru rolled over and looked to him, "You're still up?" she wishpered quietly.

DiTan looked up quickly then nodded, "Yeah...Can't really sleep." He put the dagger back and placed it next to he's gun on the nightstand.

"Neither can I, " she said, "Are you worried?"

DiTan nodded in the dark, "Yeah."

SHe made a 'hm' noise softly and laid on her back, "DiTan?"

He kept looking at her, blushing slightly, "Yeah?"

"Get some sleep." She closed her eyes, makeing it darkker in her eyes, "You don't need to worry about anything tonight."

DiTan smiled sheeplisu,"Okay then Liru...You get some sleep too, okay?"

Liru smiled, "Yeah okay."

She heared him lay down on the bed oppsiate of her and Badger. The boy didn't want to be away from her at all. She listen to he's beathing as he slowly fell asleep, unaware he was already dreaming of her. Liru stayed on her back, with her eyes closed, listening to them both sleep, as she also felt her body relax. She knew that it whouldn't be a full sleep, but she smiled as she knew what she would dream of....
