DiTan was walking ahead of Liru when he heard the noise. It was a highpitch noise that would make dogs go made. He listened then turned to Liru who also heard it.

SHe nodded once and he nodded back. Gun dwarn, eyes set, the two began to walk south again. But now they listned as best as they could, trying to hear past the annoying sound.

A moent or so past and DiTan's eyes narrowed in on he's target. He didn't say a word as he aimed, then pulled the tigger of he's slick gun. The bullet flew from it's cage and zoomed past the monds of rocks on either side. Zipped past puddles of water and mud then found it's mark in the arm of an old man.

The old man yelled in pain as he fell over and held he's arm tightly. The highpitch noise stopped as he dropped he's instrument.

"Damn you brats! How dare you attack a poor old soul."

DiTan walked up to him and knelt low so they where face to face, "You're not old shapshifter."

Liru had walked up and stood where she was. She noted that the "old man" seemed to forget he's pain as he sat up stirght and laughed.

"Oh you're good Honn. and what do you know? A native as well? Don't see that everyday." He laughed then smiled to them as he formed into he's true form, "The names Badger. PLease to meet ya."

Liru looked Badger up and then and hid her smile, "You look like a girl..."

Badger rolled he's eyes as he jupmed to he's feet and held he's arm close to him, "Well that's rude. I thought natives where suppose to be nice people."

"THings change."

"No they don't."

DiTan intven with the two, "Well I want to know why the hell you was makeing that annoying sound of yours."

Badger smiled and danced a little before jumping high up onto a ledge, "To get your attion. I got something you might like."

"And what dose a shapeshiftling being as yourself have that we would want?" asked Liru.

He shurrged, "Oh just something to do with Donta." He smirked as they looked up to him with more interest. He's tail twitched slowly as he waited for their response.

Liru looked to this strange follow and spoke, "And what do you know?"

Badger held up a finger and wagged it to her, "Nah-uh. You have to pay for this infomation. I worked hard to get it ya know?"

DiTan rolled he's eyes,"Name your price."

"You allow me to come with you." said the young lad. He looked at them and kept smileing.

"Why would you want to come with us?" asked Liru. She seemed confuse and notice the Badger's golden eye became a little sadden.

"Because I'm bored here. I want to leave, and you two seem fun to be with. So what do you say?"

Liru turned to DiTan who sighed and whispered to her, "I think we can trust him for now. Who knows, he might come of use."

Liru frought the urgedge to roll her eyes as she looked back at Badger, "Deal. But if I don't like what I hear, I'll cut off your tail."

Badger squell with joy as he dropped to them and hugged her, "Thankyou miss!!"

Liru rolled her eyes as she shoved him off, "It's Liru Hinku."

DiTan grinned as he wacthed Badger dance around her, "And I'm DiTan."

Badger nodded and sat down with he's legs cross under him, "Great! Well I guess I should tell you what I know."

They all sat down and Badger began he's tale.

"Well, to strat with Donta is the Demon Prince here. Not really a king yet, but in 7 months time, he will be. And that won't be pretty. I'm sure you know the leganed of Liru?"

They nodded and Liru spoke, "The Jonns attacked the small village and it's only survirior to date sleaded herself in the woods, wating to be woken by the chosnen one."

Badger nodded, "Yes well, theres another part. That whoever wakes her will gain all of that power and will be able to contorl even time it's self. Donta belives that if he can wake her, he'll get that power. You following?"

"He's a rouge prince in other words, "implied DiTan

Badger grinned, "Yup!"

"But that dosen't explained why he attacked us though. You think he would have better things to do." said Liru.

"Well I don't know about that. Maybe he was just bored of whatever." said the shapeshifter.

DiTan nodded then stood up, "Very well then. I think that makes sense."

Liru stood as well, "Fine then. Let''s get out of here." She began to walk off.

Badger hopped to he's feet and followed her, smileing widely, "YAY!" He hugged her from behind tightly. DiTan laughed loudly, "Aw how cute!"

Growling, Liru punched the kid, sending him head frist into DiTan. They both fell on the ground, dizzy, as Liru stomped off, "JERKS!!"

DiTan sighed of relif as they walked into an open filed of clean air and green grass. Liru smiled and walked to a gaint lone tree, and dodged Badger, who was trying to hug her again.

"Hug DiTan damnit!" yelled the white haired teen.

Badger just laughed as he laid down in the shade, "But it's fun to hug you HiLiru."

Liru snapped him a look that was wrose then any monster he every face, "Don't call me that. It's just Liru." She walked off, seeing a river near by, "I'll be back in a moment." with that she left.

DiTan sighed as he sat down triedly and took off he's galsses. He rubbed the sleep from he's eyes and laid back against the tree. "Don't piss her off to much. That's my job."

Badger looked at him for a moment then relized what he said, "
Wait you two are..."

"No. But she looks cutier when she's mad." said DiTan. He smiled to himself then closed he's eyes, "Maybe one day though."

"Oh so she rejected you." pipped the young Badger. He found himself head first in the dirt as DiTan put back he's now smokeing gun.

"It's just a matter of time." said DiTan. He sighed then leand back agsinst the tree again and re-closed he's eyes.

Badger sat up then rolled he's eyes, "Righttttt..."

DiTan just smiled and pretend to be asleep. I'll win her over soon. Just a matter of time. he thought to himself.

Liru came back to see that they were both sleep. Badger was curled up in a ball snoreing lightly while DiTan slept with he's back on the tree and he's arms crossed over he's chest. She notice he's left head rested easliy over he's hidden gun.

She kept looking at DiTan, her thoughts not really put toghter. She wacthed him as he shifted slightly in he's sleep and he's hair fell over the right side of he's face. LIru reached a hand out for him, inches away from he's face. She stopped herself as she heard Badger mummur something in he's sleep.

Gently pulling her hand away Liru blushed to herself and placed her hand over her chest. She looked at DiTan one more time. THen she went and sat on the other side of the tree to rest.

DiTan open he's eyes and waited for her to fall alseep. As he heard her soft breathing he sighed softly to himself. A small smile came to he's lips as he listened to her sleep then closed he's eyes once more for the night.
