In the arts and crafts side of my life, I have started a smaller side project my mother suggested. I love Indian henna/mehendi patterns and have been known to adorn myself with henna. My mom read in her Better Homes and Garden that Indian inspired wall hangings are en vouge, so she comissioned me (aka bought the supplies for me) to make her one. I haven't started hers yet, but I did finish one of the white cloth picture frames she bought me. I'm giving it as a gift to my friends when I visit them in Boston in 16 days!
In my writing, things have been going poorly. I've had a block on my screenplay. I just can't get visual enough. I think that will be dificult for me. I think in dialogue and words and images always come second. In my nonfiction class, my first workshop was a total disaster. Hopefully this next one coming up on Thursaday will be better. I haven't written anything in my novel in two months. Sucktastic.
The Heroes finale was tonight! I am satisfied in its awesome enough not to burn down buildings.
