YOU KNOW YOU'RE FROM THUNDER BAY ONTARIO CANADA WHEN:

1. You never meet any celebrities except ex-Thunder Bay
Flyers and every chick you know dated at least three of them. (Flyers= T-Bay hockeyteam, I don't know 'em ^.^; )
2. Your idea of a traffic jam is getting out of the Red
River Rd. Beer store parking lot, at 5 p.m. Friday before any long weekend. ((Like this one, GO MAY-LONG!!)
3. When you venture out of Thunder Bay, you're the only one who knows what a shag and a camp is! (Go shags!!!)
4. You know what the 'Hoito' is. (Finnish Pancakes!)
5. "Vacation" means going to Winnipeg , Duluth or Minneapolis! (Eh heh, yeeeeeeeah)
6. You've seen all the "big" bands at the CLE or Coyotes ten years after they were popular. (^.^; )
7. You measure distance in hours. (It takes around 8 hours to get to Steinback Manitoba ^^;; and around 12 hours to get to Sudbury Ontario v.v 16 hours on Greyhound Bus &.&; ^^;;;; and I have no idea how many kilometers or miles ^^;;; )
8. You know several people who have collided with moose or skunk more than once. ( I DOOOOOO)
9. Your classes were cancelled because of the cold or snow. (Uh huh ^^)
10. You often switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day. (Morning cold, daytime HOT)
11. You use a down comforter in the summer. (Yup yup)
12. You know what 'BonBons' are. (Bon bon RIBS!!!)
13. You plan your financial future around the Charity
Casino. (Eh heh, gamblers)
14. You see people wearing Ski-doo and Polaris jackets
At social events. (v.v; Sad sad thing)
15. You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked. (YUP!!)
16. You think of the major four food groups as Stanley
Burgers, Persians, Labatts Crystal, and Blueberries. (^^;; )
17. You carry jumper cables in your car and your
Girlfriend knows how to use them. (Ask my mommy ^^)
18. There are always four empty cars running in the parking lot of Mike's Mart at any given time. (Heh heh, yeeeeah)
19. You only own three spices: salt, pepper, and ketchup. (lol)
20. You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over
A snowsuit. ("You going to wear a sweater over that?" "It won't FIT!!" v.v)
21. You know driving is better in the winter because the
Potholes are filled with snow. (Not on the school bus >.<;; )
22. You think everyone from a bigger city has an accent. (Yeah-huh ^^)
23. You think sexy lingerie is tube socks and a flannel
Nightie. (NOOOOOOO I don't!!)
24.You know that the Chronicle Journal covers national
And international headlines on the bottom corner of one page and requires six pages for sports coverage. (Sadly yes ^^)
25. You know which leaves make good toilet paper. (The large fluffy ones that grow in the undergrowth, they are large enough to cover you hand and are not scratchy.... o.o Heh heh ^^;; )
26. You have an outhouse and prefer to use it. (If I haaaaaave tooooo *whine*)
27. You know all four seasons: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction. (It sucks v.v)
28. There's a Robin's Donuts per every 1000 capita. (Or Tim Hortons ^.^ )
29. You know where the Sleeping Giant lives. (*grin*)
30. It takes three hours to get through Intercity for one
Item even when you're in a rush because you have to stop and talk to everyone in town. (Ps: The Intercity is a mall)
31. You know where the McKellar Confectionery is located. (CONEY DOOOOOOGSSSS!!!!!)
32. You know the frustration of waiting in backed up traffic on Memorial at the busiest time of day while the train does its thing. ( ONE track >.<!!! I don't remember the last time it crossed Memorial Ave. ~.^)
33. You actually understand all of these and forward them to all your friends and family from Thunder Bay.
I bet half of you guys don't know what half of this stuff is but I DOOO!!! WA HA HA HA HA HA HAH!!!
