You keep fishing for those words,
But they won't bite.
Those pesky three words.
Not even in shallow waters are they in sight.
If I were to say I love you,
Darling, what would you even do?
Love is like a shark.
It swims so silently.
No danger in a shark,
But it made a mistake and came for me.
Darling dear, last time you found love in the ocean,
It escaped at the idea of your blow-fish.
Now she is gone,
So here you are again, fisherman.
Well I just might be gone.
Head back to land, fisherman.
