Blue is losing someone you love
Blue is when there's good news and bad news
Blue is a hot summer day when you scrape your knee
Blue is your first day at the beach when you get a sun-burn
Blue is a tidal wave of sorrow crashing into the city that is your heart
Blue is a soldier who holds his fire
And overall, blue is as deep as the ocean, but as shallow as a heartless man
