Voices, voices all around.
I'm covered by a sheet.
Nothing but cage can be found.
Space-less for a single wing beat.
Drugs in my vein.
Arms wrapped in a jacket.
A syringe carries bane.
My dinner in a packet.
The poison makes my head trip
Eyes see things that aren't real.
Bugs crawl around and skip.
Their legs on me I can't even feel.
Night is the time to scream.
The Coats try to tie me down.
Sewing my mouth shut with a heavy seam.
Alone in my blood I drown.
I can't get out.
Morning brings another day of tests and pain.
No matter how much I shout.
Again, I'll never feel the rain.
One day I'll run.
Bashing the Coats in their heads.
Flying away with black wings into the sun.
Breaking all controlling threads
