How do you break…
Seven generations of lies,
Of hate?
The purest form of suicide
Comes not from within
But from without,
Pouring in on all sides,
Great tidal wave
That demolishes and crushes
All that's left in me…
You've left your mark on me,
Tattooed it onto my heart,
Something so vile and wretched,
A single word verse appears.
Saying only one thing:
Hate.
Heart of ink,
Won't you cut yourself for me?
Slice me open,
Leave me here alone to bleed?
Take my heart,
And smash it all to bits?
Don't want to feel anymore,
Can't stand the pain…
Only wanting to be free.
A single teardrop has fallen,
And it spreads, and it spreads…
So far and so wide,
But it's still no bigger
Than the hole in your heart.
Bleeding ink into my paper cuts,
Cut like glass, so smooth.
